Our Aim
‘The Fatimah Legacy’ ميراث السيدة فاطمة ع is a campaign to help provide Hijab items across the whole world. We aim to send Hijab materials free of charge to all those who need it (excluding courier costs)!
The Qur’an states that the purest of women cover their bodies and hair, hence we aim to share the legacy of these pure women, namely Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her).
“O Prophet! Say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they draw their outer garments (jilbab) close to them. So it is more likely that they will be known and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.”
- Qur'an (33: 60) -

Our Story
Our inspiration & What we do
The Fatimah Legacy ميراث السيدة فاطمة ع campaign was named in honour of Lady Fatimat al-Zahra, daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them). Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) was the greatest women of the all the worlds and we are inspired by her legacy of truthfulness and greatness. We hope to reflect her teachings in our campaign.
We are working closely with converts and other believing sisters who have complained time and time again about the difficulty and high expense of Hijab items in their countries. This is not right, and we have vowed to al-Zahra (peace be upon her) to ease the path of every sister who wishes to be Fatimi. Hence, we are working on connecting with people in the Middle East to collect donations appropriate Hijab items.
Moreover, we are working to educate society regarding the Hijab and its importance. The root of Islamophobia and ignorance relating to the Hijab is due to lack of understanding and the scarcity of trustworthy sources. We hope insh’Allah to work towards fixing this issue.
